I think the results we obtained from the experiment we did quite accurately matched my predictions of what we would find, backed up with our research that will be addressed during our presentation of this project.
I am usually stubborn, and it is hard to make me change my mind when I am set in a direction, but we finally managed to come to a compromise which satisfied everyone. There were times at which I disagreed with them, but I feel that I was open to new suggestions.

By the end of the day we had finished most of the powerpoint, our video, and the outline for our lab.
I got a lot more comfortable being a leader, but I did try to let my other teammates play an equally active role in the group. I felt like everyone was working pretty well together, and I pushed myself to be open to the ideas of the group members.
Projects and work are usually classroom based and quite restrictive, and this project was full of opportunities and freedom. Regarding the actual presentation, it was obvious that our planning was not very good.

I think we ended up going there almost a month after the spill. There were a lot of times when I would let her take over the majority of the work and watch her focus waver a great deal.

Taking over the presentation was something that really surprised me, and although I know that I talked a bit too much, I am glad that it happened that way, as it showed me that public speaking can actually be one strength instead of my weakness. Gwynne and Naledi decided to work on the lab together while Leya and I did the powerpoint.
This was a very interesting learning experience for me. I tried really hard throughout the day to be open to what other people were saying and include them in what I was doing. We started out with an idea, water suspended on a table without a cup, that we spent a whole meeting on, before we realized that it was not possible to do it, which left us with two meetings to decide what we were going to do.
Even though our question was not directly answered, I believe that our hypotheses are as good as anyone else can speculate. It is sometimes difficult for me to trust in others and let go of control. I brought in some costumes for everyone and a camera, and then Naledi and I went around school and planned the video together.

I formed a group with three other classmates who take different science subjects and we worked together to complete 3 science based activities. Through today, I learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration, especially.
The Group 4 project not only contributed to my knowledge of chemistry and physics, but gave me some insight as to what I will be learning in biology next year or in university. I enjoyed working collaboratively with the biology students and made a good effort to overcome some of the challenges I usually face with group work and my own.
