She really loved Tessa, and was so brave during it all. I have no idea how Jenny Downham managed to make her writing so authentic and heartfelt. When I visited their homes in Taiwan, it was a profound experience. From a clever child or a wonderful adult.

Otherwise it is a nice book to flip through at least once and understand how much we have in common no matter where we come from, where we are going or where we are living just as we also have our own differences.

No book has affected me as much as this one did. I keep thinking only a heartless baby-eating monster would give this book less then four stars. Although I do enjoy the variety there was also not a consistency on the walls used for some of them only had two pages dedicated to them and some had quite a bit more.
Music plays a big part in my life and helps set my aspirational mood. On the open opposite page they would mostly use a short cut section of a wall then if you were lucky enough to flip the page you would see a bigger version but with the same writing as before, which took away from the reader getting to see other hopes and dreams.
